Jamaica

Fresh fish such as mackerel, tuna, snapper and kingfish are served in restaurants along with traditional Jamaican dishes and, of course, locally brewed rum. Known as the “hip strip”, the port town of Montego Bay is a popular destination for tourists searching for a lively shopping district, interesting souvenir shops and the best restaurants available on the island.

Swimming, sunning, snorkeling, boat rides and enjoying nightly shows at your resort hotel are just a few of the exciting things Jamaica offers for both families and couples.

Grand Cayman Islands

Comprised of three islands called the Little Cayman, Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, the Grand Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory that boasts having the highest living standards in the Caribbean. Seven Mile Beach is one of the Grand Cayman Island’s most popular attractions and home to many beautiful resorts as well as the historical Pedro St. James Castle, which still remains open to the public. In addition, visitors can swim with friendly stingrays at Stingray City and sandbar on Grand Cayman Island and view several shipwrecks located just off its shore.

Other Grand Cayman Island attractions include the Mastic hiking trail, the Cayman Turtle Farm, a marine theme park called Boatswain’s Beach and the East End Light, the first lighthouse to be used as a navigational aid on the island.

Nassau, Bahamas

The commercial center and capital of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Nassau hosts millions of visitors each year and provides some of the most delicious weather conditions in this part of the world, with daytime temperatures remaining between 70 and 90 degree Fahrenheit all year long. With hundreds of activities ranging from swimming with dolphins to coral reef diving to horseback riding along trails surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage, Nassau represents the idea of the utopian vacation. Sports fishing for marlin and snapper, swimming, boating and exploring hundreds of exotic shops featuring handmade items are always just a short walk away from your beachfront hotel.

Also recognized for its traditional Balinese healing therapies, Nassua is home to numerous spas offering therapeutic massages, body wraps, soothing saunas and other beauty services designed to pamper, heal and energize your mind and body.

Bermuda

Lying about 700 miles southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean, Bermuda is comprised of several islands that offer warm, sultry climates fed by a steady flow of Gulf Stream breezes. Daytime winter temperatures average 70 degrees Fahrenheit while summer temperatures range from 60 degrees at night to around daytime highs in the 80s.

The vision of Bermuda’s pale pink sandy beaches in contrast to the vivid cerulean ocean waters is spectacular when seen from one of the many resort hotels established on the south side of the island. The remains of broken bits of coral, shells and miniscule organisms called “red foam” produce the pink hue overlaying the beaches, lending a stunning accessory of color to the already lovely ambience of the island.

During the day, visitors can scuba dive to explore dazzlingly colorful coral reefs, old shipwrecks and dazzlingly pretty fish darting in and out of the corals. Also, nobody visiting Bermuda misses seeing the Royal Naval Dockyard and the Maritime Museum that includes the Bermuda Museum, Aquarium and Zoo. Finally, don’t forget to take a tour through the Crystal Caves, also called “Nature’s Jewelry Box”, with its impressive saltwater pools and majestic, sparkling stalactites.

Lying in the eastern part of the Caribbean Sea is the island country of Saint Lucia, where honeymooning couples can live out a fantasy getaway surrounded by soft, white beaches, majestic green mountains and transparent bluish-white waters. Go snorkeling, waterskiing, boating and parasailing during the day and enjoy romantic candlelight dinners at night, followed by dancing and a walk along the moonlit beach.
